Span Florida works hard to educate the general public, local representatives and state senators as well as working with Governor Jeb Bush on a steatewide suicide prevention effort to bring down the number of Suicides in Florida.

Span Florida members are teaching the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program free to teens in Middle Schools, High Schools, Drug Rehab, Juvenile Detention Centers, Teen Summer Camps and anywhere they will let them teach it.

Span Florida members work around the state of Florida with other suicide prevention agencys to educate and prevent suicides in our state.

Span Florida members work on the West Coast of Florida with the National Alliance for Mentally ill, teaching programs to help bring the number of suicides down among mentally ill people.

Span Florida members teach prevention to police officers, educating them and trying to bring down the suicide rate among officers.
